Aeolus introduces the AGT24, a high-quality agrotruck tyre that, following successful field tests in Europe, is now officially being launched to the wider market. Since September last year, several hundred tyres have already been extensively and successfully tested on the European market. The Aeolus AGT24 therefore offers contractors, farmers and machinery manufacturers a further-developed, stable and high-quality alternative.

Technical specifications and innovations

Advanced heat management, even at speeds of up to and including 100 km/h

Thanks to Aeolus' many years of experience in the transport and earthmoving industries, the AGT24 has been engineered with efficient heat dissipation. Its robust All-Steel carcass, combined with a specially developed rubber compound and aerodynamic tread design, provides active cooling. Even at constant speeds of up to 100 km/h under heavy loads, the tyre remains cool. This makes the AGT24 unique in its segment: prolonged high-speed transport is possible without thermal damage.
Maximum load capacity without loss of performance

The strong steel carcass construction guarantees maximum mechanical load capacity. This robust structure significantly reduces the risk of radial run-out and cracking. The AGT24 therefore delivers an impressive load capacity, supporting up to 11.4 tonnes on the rear axle at 65 km/h without any loss of performance.
7.0 BAR OEM certification

The Aeolus AGT24 comes with an official Technical Declaration for operation at a tyre pressure of 7.0 BAR. This means the tyre immediately complies with the strictest factory requirements that many machinery manufacturers (OEMs) now specify as standard for the acceptance and technical inspection of new vehicles.

The true strength of the Aeolus AGT24 lies in its versatility. Its carefully designed, deep traction tread provides maximum grip on unpaved surfaces, while the wide blocks in the centre of the tread help reduce rolling resistance during road transport.

Results from real-world use

Agrotruck GmbH & Co. KG has been fitting the Aeolus AGT24 to its vehicles since the beginning of this year, including the MAN AgroTruck 18.440 4x4. For this specific configuration, tyre size 445/65 R 22.5 is used on the front axle and 600/50 R 22.5 on the rear axle.

Initial customer experiences in real-world conditions confirm the technical advantages of this series:

No heat-related problems: The extreme increase in tyre temperature, a common problem during intensive transport operations, is now a thing of the past with the AGT24.
